RESEAU D'OMBRES: First 7"

Réseau d'Ombre was born in febrary1984 in Laval. The first member was Enst(voices, synthé) who had recuited the 2 other members by classified. Those members Jean-Marc(bass) and Karl(drums) are brothers. This 7" was recorded in 1984. Réseau d'Ombres has started a fund to put out this record. This is their first effort on vinyl after 2 tapes.

CLAIR OBSCUR: 1rst single

Clair Obscur was born in Creil (north of France) in 1981. Their shows mixing music and visual performances were very quickly recognised, and became a reference public and the up and french independant radio stations. In 1983 they had opened for Killing Joke in Paris, the same year they had produced their 1rst single. This single came with insert that you can see here.

Paris Mix is a very rare french compilation with bands from Paris and its era. It came out in 1982 on ZED records. 2000 copies were pressed. The first side is rather "cold wave" and the second punk.

WARUM JOE: Le goût de l'effort 7"

Warum Joe is a band from Paris. They began in 1981. Their music was somewhere between punk and coldwave. The sound is characteristic because they use a drum machine. This 7" was put out by New Rose in 1983, the band was very happy of this record.

KREMLIN KONTINGENT 7"

Kremlin Kontingent was formed in Corbeille (Essone) in 1982. Before (1981) they have been named "couilles molles et les attributs". This ep have been auto-produced in 1983 and 1000 copies were made.

BERURIER NOIR: Nada 84

I don't have to introduce this well known french band. The live tracks was recorded with a drummer (Gaboni from Lucrate Milk) because guys has stolen the drum machine.The record was limited to 700 hand numbered copies.

NUCLEAR DEVICE: gave away 7"

A 7" from the band based in LeMans. This record was produced in 1988. The band had to play a gig at the Bebop Festival and they thought that the ticket price was too expensive. They produced this 7" to give it away at the entrance. The last records was sold by Bondage record. 700 records was pressed without picture sleeve. The first song is a remix, the second and the third are live.
