Bombs n' blood n' capital
OTH is a band from the 1rst french punk generation. They have began in 1977 in Montpellier. They are one of the early bands that wasn't from Paris. Their texts are very recognizable and personnal. The song writer/singer is Spi. In those texts there is something of poetic (IMO). During their lifetime they have made some covers, "Animal Fatal" is a cover of the Donovan's song "Mellow Yellow". Remember the great cover of "Get of my Cloud" called by O.T.H. "Interdit aux Chiens". This 7" is their last one and was put out in 1987.

Live 1983
Another underated band, this one is from Newcastle. In 1983 their first 7" (this one) was well received but after that they just have released a split flexi 7" with Blood Robots and they had a track on the Bullshit Detector III from Crass records. I don't remember when (maybe 1983/4) or where I bought it but I remember when I put it on my turntable: whaoo!!!. It's a realy good anarcho punk in the vein of Flux of Pink Indians or Anthrax etc....The picture on the sleeve is the same as "no sanctuary" by Amebix but the framing is different.
Members was:
Michael Barlow......................Vocals
Michael Scott.........................Guitar
Ken Fawcitt...........................Bass
Paul Ridley............................Drums
The reproduction of hate
Since the beggining I had posted only french bands. But I don't make this blog to post only french band, so I stop today the french serial. They had played many gigs in Sweden with a big succes at the Hultsfreds Festival and also in Denmark and Netherland. Here is their Mothercake E.P. .
